Scorching Front: How to Play It and Not Waste Your Time
Русская версияThe event in three lines
You gather Fire Crystals from volcano tiles. 1 Crystal = 1 Point. At the end you get a rank based on what you gathered, and rank rewards arrive by mail.
A session lasts only 55 minutes. This is not a day-long marathon but a short sprint — prepare everything in advance.
Troops are not lost for good. Everyone who dies goes to the Realm Hospital, is healed for free, and is fully restored after the event.
Schedule and registration
Each round is split into several sessions and you can only sign up for one of them. The 9–10 August 2026 round looked like this:
| Date | Session time |
|---|---|
| 2026-08-09 | 14:00–14:55 |
| 2026-08-09 | 16:00–16:55 |
| 2026-08-09 | 22:00–22:55 |
| 2026-08-10 | 04:00–04:55 |
| 2026-08-10 | 07:00–07:55 |
| 2026-08-10 | 11:00–11:55 |
Agree in chat and all go into the same session. You can only register for one — if the alliance scatters across different sessions, nobody can help or cover anybody.
Later rounds will have different dates and hours — check the event window in game.
Official rules (from the in-game "Info" screen)
- Each round consists of several sessions; you can register for only one of them.
- The volcano contains Fire Crystals of different levels. The higher the level, the faster the gathering speed. At the end players are ranked by the Crystals they gathered; the higher the rank, the better the rewards.
- All soldiers who die during the event go to the Realm Hospital and are healed for free. After the event ends, everyone who died is fully healed.
- Normal and Advanced Teleport cannot be used. You get 3 free Teleports per event; after that you pay Diamonds, and the more attempts, the higher the cost.
- The map randomly generates the Goblin Explosive Rocket and the Goblin Defense Shield. Holders get certain advantages in battle, but these items do not work against other players' castles.
- As the event progresses, supply chests randomly appear in the central area of the map. Whoever captures a chest receives a large amount of Fire Crystals.
- Rank rewards are sent by mail after the event ends.
- 1 Fire Crystal = 1 Point.
- Once registered, you cannot immigrate until the event is over.
- During the event you cannot plunder enemy castles.
Tactics: what to actually do
1. Start by scouting: look around and choose where to teleport
The moment the event starts, open the event map, find the volcano and look around. Ideally teleport close to high-level tiles.
Careful though: real monsters — players with castles up to level 40 — may be grazing there. Judge it by the situation.
If you cannot mine where you landed — everything is taken, or everyone is beating on you — teleport somewhere else, to easier tiles. Gathering peacefully on weak tiles beats standing idle next to rich ones.
2. "No plundering" ≠ "no attacking"
The ban on plundering only means that nobody will carry resources out of your castle. Attacking castles is still allowed, and the field will be full of thugs who do exactly that.
Put your shield up. No excuses. This is not a "just in case" — it is a mandatory step before the start.
3. Gathering is everything — send a single unit
March size affects neither gathering speed nor the amount of Crystals you bring home. A full march and a single unit give the same result. So send one unit per tile and take more tiles.
The exception is when enemies are hitting your tiles. Then it is your call: if you think you can hold, send a full march. But usually it is easier to move to another tile than to fight for this one.
4. Tiles: levels 1 to 4, plus the "special" ones
- Gathering happens on tiles of level 1 to 4. The higher the level, the richer the tile.
- But richer tiles draw more competition. A quiet level 3–4 tile with no fight often beats a war over the best spot.
- Sometimes tiles appear that look different from the rest. Those are far more efficient — grab them first.
5. Where not to go
- The volcano crater. The strongest player on the map will be sitting there. Don't even try to take it.
- Supply chests. The strongest players will push for them. If you feel strong enough you can try, but judge it by the situation.
- The Goblin catapult and rocket. Chasing them is pointless: they are practically useless, especially at our sorry power level. Don't waste time and marches on them.
6. Raiding other players' tiles — do it late
Of course you can knock other players off their tiles too. But do it closer to the end of the event — otherwise you get identified as an aggressor early and spend the rest of the hour being genocided.
7. Do NOT heal your troops afterwards
Every troop that fell during the event comes back on its own, fully healed. Do not heal them — it is a pure waste of resources.
And the flip side of the same rule: since troops return for free, fighting in this event costs you nothing. There is no reason to be afraid of losses here.
8. After the event — go back and claim your rewards!
Once the event is over, make sure you open the event page and claim the rewards for the phases you completed. Rank rewards arrive by mail on their own, but these have to be claimed by hand — and they are the easiest thing to forget.
The event rewards are seriously fat, so taking part is well worth it — at least while we are still small.
Pre-start checklist
- Registered for the same session as the alliance.
- Shield is up.
- Troops are home, marches are not scattered around the map — 55 minutes fly by.
- First thing at the start — open the event map and look around, and only then jump.
- Remember you only get 3 free teleports: pick your landing spot deliberately, don't hop around for nothing.
- The plan is simple: take as many tiles as you can with one unit each, prioritise rich and "special" tiles, stay out of the centre.
